Animal-assisted Therapy - In-Person sessions will be joined by my dog, Sable!

Animals can play a role in coregulation. The presence of a dog can be soothing, reducing symptoms of anxiety, and bring a sense of connection to another that may have been truncated during trauma. Some clients find that they are able to connect better to animals than people. Sable is registered as an assisted therapy dog through Paws of Canada.
