Animal-assisted Therapy - In-Person sessions will be joined by my dogs, Dixie and Sable!

Animals can play a role in coregulation. The presence of a dog can be soothing, reducing symptoms of anxiety, and bring a sense of connection to another that may have been truncated during trauma. Some clients find that they are able to connect better to animals than people.

Dogs on the therapy couch.  When clients choose to sit on a pilates ball or rolling chair, the dogs come to hang out.

When clients choose to sit elsewhere, like on the exercise ball or a rolling chair, the girls join us on the couch.
